Compensation: $400-$500 per day – depending on experience and qualifications, plus OT, health benefits, PTO, Sick Days and 401K
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 50 hours a week, with occasional more hours, sleep-over, weekends and holidays, and travel to Great Neck, NY for the day.
Formal and fully staffed home is in search of a capable, flexible and easy going live-out Nanny /Housekeeper to join their staff and assist in caring for an infant.
Childcare Responsibilities: • Attend to child in absence of primary nanny - feeding, bathing, etc. • Keep the child stimulated and engaged • Keep the child’s areas tidy, cleaned and sanitized • Keep inventory of child’s clothes, accessories, food, supplies, and make sure that inventories are all kept full • Keep the child’s toys organized
Housekeeping Responsibilities • Responsible for the daily cleaning and maintaining the general appearance of the residence • Organize and manage of household inventory • Care of antiques, fine arts, paintings, lamps, picture frames and decorative items • Care of fine garments, dry-cleaning, laundry, hand washing, stain removal, ironing, and sewing as needed • Clean, organize and tidy closets and credenzas • Make master bedroom bed and replace sheets according to the schedule • Assist with Food preparation for the family as needed • Set up dinner table and provide service as needed • Greet visitors, guests and contractors • Pack and unpack family luggage prior their trips and upon their return • Receive mails and deliveries • Running Errands as needed
Requirements: • Must have at least 5 years of long-term experience working in a similar role • Comfortable taking directions and instructions • Good English communication skills, both verbal and written • Able to prepare simple meals • Proactive, adaptable, and flexible to the needs of the family • Time management and Problem solving skills
