Live-out, Executive Housekeeper needed in Downtown Manhattan, NY

Compensation: $40 - $45 per hour on payroll, plus OT, plus full medical benefits, and 401K, etc.


Schedule: Live-out, Monday to Friday, 8/9am start, 40 - 50 hours a week, working some weekends and some holidays.


Location: Downtown Manhattan, Upstate NY


Family with three school age children in a formal and fully staffed home is in search of a capable, flexible, easy going, highly energetic and easy-going Executive Housekeeper to join their staff in providing all around service caring for their high-end home.

 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the cleaning and maintaining the general appearance of the residence.

• Organize and manage of household inventory, care of antiques, fine arts, and decorative items

• Care of fine garments, dry-cleaning, laundry, hand washing, stain removal, ironing, and sewing as needed

• Clean, organize and tidy closets and cabinets

• Assist with cooking and food preparation for the family

• Set up dinner table and provide service as needed

• Pack and unpack family luggage prior their trips and upon their return

• Assist with childcare and pet care (small dog), as needed

• Running Errands as needed

 

Requirements:

• Must have at least 5 years of long-term experience working in formal high-end homes

• Team player, and comfortable taking directions and instructions

• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
