Compensation: $200 per night
Schedule: 5-6 nights from 6pm to 7am for 3 months, potentially longer.
A family is seeking a compassionate and experienced Sleep Training Baby Nurse to provide overnight care and support to premature but is now healthy and thriving after recently coming home from the NICU. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sleep training techniques and a nurturing approach to help babies develop healthy sleep habits.
Responsibilities:
Utilize evidence-based sleep training methods to help infants establish consistent sleep patterns.
Monitor and care for infants throughout the night, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Offer guidance and reassurance to parents on sleep training practices and infant care.
Prepare and feed appropriate meals for infants, ensuring proper nutrition.
Ensure the baby's sleeping area is safe and conducive to sleep.
Keep detailed records of the baby's sleep patterns, feeding schedules, and any concerns or progress.
Maintain open communication with parents to discuss the baby's progress and any adjustments needed in the sleep training plan.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience as a baby nurse or in a similar role.
Excellent references from prior families.
Be local to Miami Beach
Willing to undergo an extensive background check
Up-to-date vaccinations (Flu and Covid vaccine/booster, TDAP, and Negative TB Blood Test result)
Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification are up to date
