Compensation: $35-40 per hour
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am-5pm with occasional longer hours.
A family in Downtown Manhattan is in search of a long-term, part-time Housekeeper to take care of their three-bedroom and three-bathroom, one-level loft. Ideal candidate would have a strong attention to detail, be proactive, and possess excellent communication skills. Efficient, knowledgeable, and experienced in caring for fine homes, highly organized, with strong time management skills and children friendly.
Duties include but not limited to maintenance and scheduled deep cleaning, organizing, washing laundry and ironing, sending out the dry cleaning, keeping an eye on inventory of supplies, and occasional errands.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have at least 5 years of solid experience working as a housekeeper.
• Must have good and verifiable references
• Knowledge of cleaning products and their application/use on museum quality furniture and various surfaces.
• Knowledge of caring for fine garments: handwashing, ironing, stain removal and steam-pressing.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills for closets, cabinets, and other storage spaces.
