Seasonal Chef needed in the Hamptons, NY

Season: Mid Spring early Fall (Separate housing provided in the Hamptons)

 

Compensation: $1,000 to $1,200 per day

Schedule:

  • Workdays: Thursday through Monday

  • Average meals: Lunch and dinner for an average of four people

  • Occasional dinner parties: Up to 20 guests with the assistance of a sous chef

 

Overview: A prominent client in the Hamptons, NY seeking a highly energetic, talented and dedicated seasonal chef. This position is ideal for a chef based in New York City who would enjoy spending the season in the Hamptons.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lunch and dinner for the client and their guests, averaging four people per meal

  • Organize and execute occasional dinner parties for up to 20 guests, with the support of a sous chef

  • Maintain high standards of culinary excellence, focusing on healthy and aesthetically pleasing dishes


Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role and with excellent references

  • Specialization: Proficient in Asian cuisine

  • Cooking Style: Emphasis on healthy cooking and elegant presentation

  • Personality: Easy-going and adaptable to changes
