Rate: $40-45 per hour plus benefits
Schedule:
Off Season: Live-out, 5 days, 40 hours a week, including occasional weekends
Summer Season: Live-out, 6 days, 55-60 hours a week including weekends
A large property with three homes in Southampton is looking for a highly energetic, detail oriented and capable head housekeeper to lead and work alongside a team of housekeepers. Need someone who can train other housekeepers, a team player, gets along with others, flexible and adaptable, experienced working in a fast-paced and luxury setting, and pet friendly. Excellent laundry skills and knowledge of garment/wardrobe care, caring for antiques, silver, artwork, and delicate surfaces, highly organized and detail oriented.
Duties are but not limited to house management, overseeing vendors and contractors, training and overseeing other housekeepers, cleaning, organizing, laundry and ironing, assistance in the kitchen and food preparation, set table and serve when entertaining.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a high-end luxury home.
• Long-term, stellar and verifiable references.
• Be fluent in English – verbal and written - and a good communicator
• Local to the Hamptons, drives and has own car to get to work
• Legal to work in the US
